FEELING AT HOME Familiar surroundings and a warm welcome by chess-loving friends. Those were the ingredients that once again inspired Jan Timman at the traditional Sigeman & Co tournament in Malmö. Initially mildly pessimistic about his chances, Timman regained his old optimism when on his arrival in Sweden the air appeared filled with lucky signs. He won his first three games and never looked back. The tournament winner reports.
